Koufler Warehouse

The Kufler Tobacco Warehouse is located outside the center of Kavala, in the Perigiali district. A four-storey building, with a large volume and a floor plan reminiscent of the Gama shape, while it has an area of 1,720 sq.m. One of the most modern constructions, built in the 1960s. It has large and symmetrical openings and stone coating. It belonged to the National Tobacco Organization, while now its ownership has passed to the region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Its name came from the Polish tobacconist who built it.
Sapountzi Warehouse

Adjacent to the Koufler tobacco warehouse in the neighborhood of Perigiali, the Saputzi Tobacco Warehouse is hosted on a plot of land,
with a total area of 3,500 sq.m. Built in the mid-1960s, to house the operations of the tobacco industry of the same name. A four-story tobacco warehouse, it occupies an area of 6,000 sq.m. It has symmetrical openings and an external cladding with stonework. It has a pitched roof with rectangular skylights. The building has been renovated and is being used as both office space and residential space.
