Municipal Warehouse

The Municipal Tobacco Warehouse is located on Kapnergati Square. Five-storey tobacco warehouse, with symmetrical openings, large volume and rectangular floor plan. It was built in 1910 to house the Kiazin Emin company and is of Ottoman architecture. The openings have metal railings, while it has a parapet that visually separates the floors. The most elaborately decorated tobacco warehouse in the city, with imposing neoclassical elements adorning mainly the parapet of the roof. Since 1970, the tobacco warehouse has come under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Kavala, which repaired the tobacco warehouse, preserving its internal wooden frame.
Today it is used as a cultural center.

Athanasiou Warehouse

Tobacco warehouse owned by Athanasiadis Antonis. It is located on Averof and Palamas streets. A three-storεy tobacco warehouse with a horizontal floor plan and a large volume. Pitched roof with a rectangular skylight and tiled roof. Symmetrical openings and plastering of concrete on the last two floors, while on the ground floor and the first floor of stone. The parapet separates the first floor from the next two and the third from the roof.

Regie Warehouse

Three-storey tobacco warehouse on Averof Street. It was built in 1885 and bought by the Ottoman Monopoly in 1892. Rectangular floor plan with a large volume, suggesting an atrium in the middle of the three rectangular floor plans. Symmetrical windows without balustrades with brick surrounds at the lintels as well as at the shell joints. Pitched roof with a round skylight and tiled roof. The building was renovated and houses the commercial center of the city.
