Tsimino Warehouse

A complex of three-story tangential buildings, with a gabled roof and a parapet that visually separates the floors. Symmetrical openings with metal railings throughout the height of the building. The initials of Aaron Tsimino can be seen on the pediment of the tobacco warehouse and also at the entrance on Nuremberg Street. After the American crash, the company ceased operations (1934).Aaron Tsimino together with his son Sabetai processed tobacco in the tobacco warehouses on Olympiados and Karanos Streets, on Amyda Street and in the privately owned tobacco warehouses behind Kamares. They partnered with Leonidas Antipas, vice consul of the Netherlands, establishing the company "Aaron I. Tsimino and Co." Due to the change in the conditions of the tobacco trade, the company had a downward trend, so it closed in 1999.












Topal Memet Efendi Warehouses

Topal Memet Efendi's first tobacco warehouse is located at 2 Kimonos Street. It is a two-storey tobacco warehouse, which was also used to house refugee families.
In 1956 it was bought by D. Petridis and in 1967 by the current owner Nikolaos G. Haitas, who maintains a commercial business in its area.
Mpasterli Kioli Hotza Warehouse

Complex of two Tobacco Warehouses, touching each other. Located at 6-8 Kimonos Street. The left part of the building belonged to Topal Memet Efentis, while the right part belonged to Basterlis Kiolis Hoxha. A two-storey tobacco warehouse, with brick construction and brick window frames. Symmetrical openings with metal balustrades on the ground and first floors, and arched lintels. The tobacco warehouse was used by the Refugee Rehabilitation Committee to house refugee families.
After the war, the tobacco warehouse was used as a tobacco processing center by Paleoglou and Missirian. Today, the Girtziki furniture factory operates there, using the tobacco warehouse in sections.

Pipinou street Warehouse

Referred as E.T.E. 64 and this as the property of the National bank. Located on Pipinou Street and has been converted into a residential complex.
A three-storey tobacco warehouse with a gabled roof, gable and skylight. The parapet visually separates the floors, while the balconies and the concrete coating reveal construction after 1920.
Amerikanikou Erithrou Stavrou street

Tobacco Warehouse on Amerikanikou Erithrou Stavrou Street. Rectangular floor plan with a large volume. A seven-storey warehouse, with pilotis, that is, a void on the ground floor, probably to facilitate loading and unloading.
A gabled porch with symmetrical openings on the first floor, while smaller ones can be found on the remaining floors. The openings become parallelograms on the fifth floor, while on the next two they refer to a continuous window. Construction entirely of reinforced concrete, evidence of construction after the 1950s.

Katsoni street Warehouse

The Hatzi Sami Ahmet Tobacco Warehouse is located on Katsoni 5. It was built in 1895. There is also an Ottoman inscription on the lintel of the central entrance. Aaron Cimino and Osman Kavala processed the tobacco leaves in this tobacco warehouse.
